SAS/T Research and Development Facility

Project Summary:

This project included construction of a seven-story facility with one of the stories being below grade on one side and with seven stories on the other side. Construction included a flat slab cast-in-place concrete structure and some steel framing. Exterior materials included a full glass curtainwall system, with some CMU veneer. Also included were roofing work, CMU and gypsum board interior walls, acoustical ceilings, carpet, tile, special coatings, paint, and wallcovering. Also included was a complete sprinkler system, interior plumbing, roof drainage, heating, cooling and air conditioning, electrical work inside and outside the building, including wiring, conduit and lighting, and voice and data communications.
