Project Summary:
This project is a steel framed structure with brick, ribbon window and aluminum clad metal panel exterior. The main function of the two story facility is the impressive first floor cafeteria. This cafeteria serves the employees of the Hospira research and manufacturing facility. The dining area is featured with vaulted metal panel ceilings and a unique steel “cast net” suspended form the ceiling. The black painted walkway ceilings are lit with attractive up lighting that wind above the patrons as they enter the serving areas. The second floor houses office and conference room space utilized predominately for meetings and education.
