Project Summary
This was a sustainable design project. The buildings are framed with structural steel and the exterior walls are metal studs with brick veneer. The facility serves as a middle school for the 6 - 8 grades. Sustainable design features are: Photo-voltaic lighting system, daylighting, above ceiling radiant barrier system, stormwater reclamation system, bio-retention pond, and solar hot water system. This project earned the Energy Star Award.
